WATERLINE LOOP SURVEYING NOTICE
The Southwest Licking Community Water and Sewer District (District) is proposing to install a new water main along portions of Summit Road, Morse Road, and Putnam Road, as well as a new booster pumping station along Summit Road. The main intent of the proposed project is to provide a redundant water supply, or “loop” to the already installed Worthington Road water main. The District has selected Strand Associates, Inc. to complete the engineering services required to design and construct the new water main and new booster pumping station.

CENTRAL COLLEGE AND JUG STREET
Starting on March 11, 2024, the portion of Central College and Jug Street between US-62 and Beech Road will be closed to through traffic for additional three weeks to facilitate the installation of water main infrastructure for the 2023 Water Distribution System Improvements project. Residents living within this corridor will have access maintained to their properties at all times. The road is open to mail/parcel deliveries, trash pickups and all essential services. Appropriate detour signings have been posted to assist with navigating the areas around the closure.

Intel's Planned Investment in New Albany
On January 21, 2022, Intel announced that it has selected the Licking County portion of the New Albany International Business Park as the location for a $20 billion+ chip manufacturing project. The company plans to build two state-of-the-art factories by 2025.
