PUBLIC NOTICE

The Jersey Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Jersey Township Hall located at 1481 Mink Street SW, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. The Zoning Commission will review the following Resolution Text and Zoning Map PUD Amendment request:

Application - PUD-01-2024 submitted by Matt Martin requests to rezone 1.69 acres located at 9897 Jersey Mill Rd to a PUD per ORC Section 519.021(B).

CURRENT USE: Vacant land zoned Rural Residential

PROPOSED USE: All Permitted Uses shall be limited to those allowed in the zoning designation GB-1 and/or Commercial Residential.

CURRENT ZONING: RR—Rural Residential

PROPOSED ZONING: PUD—Planned Unit Development* “Jersey Mill 1 PUD”

The Zoning Commission at the end of the hearing, or within 30 days of the close of the hearing will render a non-binding recommendation to the Jersey Township Trustees.

NOTICE OF ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION

Starting on the week of April 22nd, Miller Road will undergo pavement repairs from Bermuda Drive to Beech Road. These repairs are slated to take 4 weeks to complete.

WATERLINE LOOP SURVEYING NOTICE

The Southwest Licking Community Water and Sewer District (District) is proposing to install a new water main along portions of Summit Road, Morse Road, and Putnam Road, as well as a new booster pumping station along Summit Road. The main intent of the proposed project is to provide a redundant water supply, or “loop” to the already installed Worthington Road water main. The District has selected Strand Associates, Inc. to complete the engineering services required to design and construct the new water main and new booster pumping station.

Seeking Zoning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Member

The Board of Trustees of Jersey Township, Licking County, Ohio is currently seeking Jersey Township residents interested in serving on either the township’s Zoning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals as either a regular member, or as an alternate. The Zoning Commission normally meets two times per month, and the BZA meets once per month if needed. The term for these positions is 5 years.
